
Andrey Bukhlitskiy is the Russian beach soccer goalkeeper who represents the national team in International competitions. The Russian goalie is seen as one of the best in the world, he was selected as the best keeper of 2007 and 2008 in the Euro Beach Soccer League (EBSL). Andrey picked up the best keeper award for the Regular Phase Events on 3 consecutive occasions in the same season. Apart from his spectacular saves, brave dives and perfect distribution, Andrey has a number of surprising self motivating rituals, including jumping on the spot, slapping himself around the face to stay focused and contorting his body. With his Russian team, Andrey has also gone on to win other achievements including the 2008 Euro Beach Soccer League Regular Phase Event, which was held in France, beating France 8-3 in the final and more recently the Euro Beach Soccer League Superfinals in 2009 beating Portugal in the final.
