C.D Huachipato

The club is based in the city of Talcahuano, VIII region of Chile and was founded on June 7th 1947. They play in Chiles First Division professional football league and are known as the most solid and complete football institution in the whole of Chile. They are sometimes known as 'Acereros' meaning 'Steelers' due to the steel company they were founded from. They won the Chile First Division Championship in 1974.
