Stamp of approval

Mark Schwarzer has qualified for the honour of featuring on an Australian ‘Legends Stamp’, celebrating his country’s greatest sporting and cultural heroes.

The tribute is presented annually to a living individual or group who have excelled in a particular field of endeavour. It recognises outstanding achievements for their part in shaping the social and cultural life of Australia.

A key member of Team Mitre over the past few years, Mark is probably best known for being the most capped player in the Socceroos history, accumulating 94 caps to the present day, as well as expertly keeping goal for Fulham FC. Mark is also heavily involved in charity work both in the UK and Australia, in addition to authoring several children books to round off his day.

A fantastic player for his club and country and a world class ambassador for Mitre and football, – Congratulations Mark from all at Mitre.
