Mitre's rising teenage rugby star Tom Homer burst onto the Guinness Premiership with two impressive tries on his league debut for London Irish this Sunday.
A 27-14 win for The Exiles over local rivals Saracens elevated the Club to second in the table with seven matches played.
Remarkably it was only eight months ago that 18 year old centre, Tom, was playing for his school team, but playing in front of 9,000 supporters did not seem to phase him as the former England Under-18 player racked up 10 points for his team.
With the score at 3-3, Tom scored with his FIRst touch of the ball down the left wing, before later wrapping up the game with his second try in the final minute.
Homer wears the Mitre Revolve boot, a professional quality boot that has been developed specifically for professional players. The boot is also worn by Luke McAlister of Sale Sharks and New Zealand and Kevin Morgan of Newport Gwent Dragons and Wales.
Mitre Revolve Pro boots are available in Screw In, Mould and Blade. To purchase your pair go to www.Mitre.com or alternatively contact enquiries@Mitre.com for more details.
