Exeter City signed 18-year-old goalkeeper Nick Jordan from Portsmouth at the beginning of the 2008/09 season.
Jordan`s recruitment on a one year contract was an intriguing one, with City already boasting two potential FIRst choice keepers in Paul Jones (certain to start at Darlington) and veteran Andy Marriott.
In August 2006, Jordan was an unused sub at the age of just 16 in Pompey`s opening day win against Blackburn. But he never got the chance to don the gloves in anger.
Portsmouth insist that Exeter got themselves a good keeper who was well regarded at Fratton Park.
They were also certain that he'll have benefited hugely from working for two years with Paul Hart and, alongside England keeper David James, with Portsmouth goalkeeping coach David Coles.
