Tom's favourite player of all time is Peter Schmeichel and the best player he has ever played with is Portsmouth and England number one David James.

Tom's most memorable career moment was his Portsmouth reserve debut against Charlton in 2006 when he saved a penalty.

If Tom wasn't a goalkeeper he'd be at college, although he has never contemplated not becoming a footballer.

Smith is a Manchester United supporter and says that the biggest influence on his career is his dad.
