While Mitre has been associated with football for almost 200 years, our links to other sports are just as strong. Mitre began production of rugby balls back in 1880 and our ball was used in the inaugural Rugby World Cup in 1987. Mitre started manufacturing netballs right back when the game was invented in 1891. We are proud to be the face of Netball amongst junior players who love the vibrant colours and great feel of our products.

All of our netballs are designed to make passing easier, with advanced pimple surface texture to enhance grip. They are also built for durability and are available in a range of sizes so there is something for every team, regardless of age and ability. Our netball equipment range also includes bib sets, with team positions displayed on the front and back. The Mitre netball bib sets come in packs of 7 and with a variety of different colours to choose from.
In addition to our netballs and Mitre rugby balls, we also offer basketball equipment, including the Mitre Arena basketball. Ideal for training, this stylish basketball is made with a durable rubber compound to make sure it lasts, whatever the playing surface. The ball also achieves high levels of air retention because of its Butyl bladder, making it perfect for team and/or school use. Our range of sports equipment also includes the Mitre Expert handball, which is a highly durable training handball, made with vulcanised soft rubber outer, which makes it ideal for handball use for all age groups and levels of play.
