Spearheaded by Dallas Mavericks manager Donnie Nelson, and the U.S national team manager Keith Tozer, the Professional Futsal League was set up in 2016 with a view to deliver exciting match play. And it didn't fail to deliver.
The game of Futsal is a fast paced game - with the ball having a 30% reduced rebound and weighted bladder - keeping the ball firmly on the ground. The Mitre Pro Futsal used throughout the competition is engineered with Hyperseam technology - a football revolution which merges a bond and stitched football. A grained surface means it's hard-wearing and long-lasting, making sure its a season long performer.
The league is based over in North America, and it's certainly growing. Not just in American but internationally it's the fastest growing sport in the world and has been for several years.
